The Galatasaray Sports Club receives a number of applications from individuals who would like to become official members of the Club. In general, only applicants who are established in their profession, with distinguished social status (marital status, educational background, etc.,) are admitted.

Approximately 2 to 3 candidates are admitted to the Club's membership per year.

In view of the large number of excellent applicants for the limited number of admission vacancies in the Club membership, preferences will be given to those who are members or alumni of Galatasaray Lycee.

For all candidates, references from three active members of the Club is a must. Recommenders are also subject to certain criteria. They must have completed 5 years as an official member of the Club.

Member recommendations, the applicant's application and all supporting documents attached with a candidate's passport picture are carefully weighted.

Applications are considered in the Club's annual Board of Regents meeting which is held every March. Acceptances are issued after the meeting.
